(Session 20) Boosting Yields for Smallholder Farmers through Water-Smart Irrigation

Irrigated agriculture is an essential component for rural growth and food production, and smallholder farmers play a vital role in local and regional food security. In Asia and the Pacific, smallholder are facing issues including water scarcity and groundwater depletion, inefficient irrigation systems, high energy cost, and lack of access to irrigation technology. This episode showcases two sustainable solutions to help smallholder farmers overcome these water challenges, boost crop yields, and enhance livelihoods.
